🎃 Halloween edition (October 2026). A special edition runs October 15–31, 2026 under these same rules: entries close October 31 at 11:59 p.m. MT and the draw takes place November 1, 2026. Subscribing enters you in the Halloween draw and in every monthly draw held while your subscription stays active.
The prize. One (1) prize is awarded per month: a $25 CAD e-gift card, approximate retail value $25 CAD, chosen by the winner from: Amazon, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, DoorDash, Uber or Cineplex, or a $25 Visa/Mastercard prepaid card. If the winner lives in the United Kingdom, Australia, India or the Philippines, the prize will be an Amazon e-gift card for the winner’s local Amazon store of equivalent value (approximately $25 CAD), or a prepaid Visa/Mastercard where that is the workable option — or, if the winner prefers and holds a PayPal account, the prize value sent via PayPal. The winner’s country of residence is verified before the prize is issued. The prize is delivered by email. No cash alternative. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Who can enter. Residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, India and the Philippines who are 18 years of age or older. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
How to enter. Subscribe to the free Holiday Day List weekly newsletter at holidaydaylist.com/newsletter-signup. Each confirmed subscriber receives one (1) entry into every monthly draw held while their subscription is active — you must still be subscribed on the draw date to be eligible (subscription status is determined by our email service, MailerLite). One bonus entry per month is available by commenting your favourite holiday on that month’s giveaway post on Instagram (@holidaydaylist). One subscription entry and one bonus entry maximum per person per month. Entries made using multiple or temporary email addresses, or by automated means, may be disqualified.
Draw dates. Entries for each month close at 11:59 p.m. MT on the last day of the month. The draw takes place within 3 days of the close, and the winner announcement (including the draw video) is posted on our social pages. October 2026 (Halloween special): entries close October 31; draw by November 1. November 2026: entries close November 30; draw December 1. December 2026: entries close December 31; draw January 2.
Winner selection and notification. One winner is selected at random from all eligible entries. The selected entrant is contacted by email at the address used to subscribe and must reply within five (5) days and correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to be declared the winner. If the selected entrant does not reply in time, cannot be contacted, or answers incorrectly, another entrant may be drawn. The winner’s first name may be published in the announcement and draw video with their permission.
Your information. Email addresses (and first names, where provided) are used only to send the newsletter and administer this draw. Unsubscribing ends both the newsletter and draw eligibility.

It is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram, Facebook, Meta, Amazon, or any of the gift-card brands listed.
